All Legend skill-tree experience on Nightmare mode is increased by 10x which is 20x at the night time.The duration of Boosters are drastically reduced.Volatiles also do not show up on your mini map at night, even when alerted & chasing you, although Survivor Sense will still highlight their bodies in orange, allowing you to see them through obstacles before you yourself are seen. The changes to your pause menu and Survivor Sense from Hard Mode carry over the world around you does not freeze when accessing your menus, meaning you must upgrade in safety or risk death, and your Survivor Sense only highlights dropped weapons and Volatiles, with supplies etc being ignored by the ping.The Stasis Field Projector cannot be used.This means you'll be seeing blue and green rarity melee weapons more commonly. Decreased chance of finding higher quality tier weapons compared to Normal mode, in order to compensate the chance of finding gold-tier weapons. ![]() Enemies especially Evolved Volatiles have extremely high health on Nightmare mode, especially if it's Nightmare+, it's ill-advised to take them on alone.You receive 10% experience buff per player in Co-Op.Like Hard mode, the Flashlight has realistic battery and slowly starts dimming the longer you use it. ![]() Although this can be easily countered by consuming stamina boosters. ![]() The Agility stamina remains infinite, you can run indefinitely without getting tired, however certain Agility skills will drain stamina, such as Tackle, Drop Kick and etc.
